WEEK 1

After a very successful exhibition season in which our team went 4-0 with wins over Aldergrove, Valleyview(kamloops), Seaquam, and Earl Marriot, we faced definitely our toughest challenge to date - the Windsor Dukes.

Lets take a look back at the last two years of football for both teams:

Mission began its program in 2003, LOSING ALL GAMES for both the '03 and'04 seasons.
Windsor was undefeated in '03 and '04......the reigning BC JV AA powerhouse.

Needless to say we had our work cut out for us.

The game was at our home field, and our coaches had made sure our players knew what was at stake. Lose to Windsor and waste our great exhibition season. Beat Windsor and be in control of our league from the start.

Final score: Mission 21 Windsor 12

Quarterback Tyrone Barnes threw 2 touchdowns to WR Mitchell Black to lead the offense. Defensive standouts included Chase Jones and Black, who each registered a sack.
